At the 45th Annual OBIE Awards, hosted by the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association, Bradford Custom Homes & Remodeling stood among Georgia’s top builders—earning Silver for Best Whole-Home Remodel and reaffirming its reputation for design excellence and innovation.
The celebration carried extra meaning for the Bradford team this year. Director of Operations Ryan MacDowell, formerly of MacBuilt Homes, took home Gold for Best Luxury Home ($1–1.5 Million)—a category in which Bradford also competed. The recognition came just as Bradford finalized its merger with MacBuilt Homes, a partnership that unites two award-winning firms with shared values of precision, craftsmanship, and a commitment to the client experience.
“The timing couldn’t have been more poetic,” shared Brad Robinson, President of Bradford Custom Homes. “Seeing Ryan’s project recognized alongside ours on the same night we finalized our merger validated everything we’ve built our company on—excellence through collaboration and planning.”
About the OBIE Awards
Established in 1980, the OBIE Awards are presented annually by the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association to honor outstanding achievements in the homebuilding industry. The name “OBIE” derives from the obelisk-shaped trophy given to winners, symbolizing excellence and accomplishment. Categories span every facet of residential construction—from remodeling and marketing to interior design and community development—making the OBIEs one of the most prestigious honors in the Southeast’s housing industry.
